New Life Transitional Services, Inc (NLTS) was founded on the principle that change is possible with proper support. Our organization serves and advocates for the economically disadvantaged, racial and ethnic minorities, the uninsured, homeless, veterans, impoverished teens, ex-offenders, residents, who often encounter barriers to accessing healthcare services, low-income children, the elderly, the homeless, those with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and those with other chronic health conditions, including severe mental illness.
New Life Transitional Services, Inc is one of several community organizations providing services to those in need within our city. The focus is on meeting holistically the needs of homeless and their associated needs within the context of their community. Our mission is to change life outcomes and promote independence, growth and change through structured living environments and support. We provide a wide spectrum of therapeutic, educational, social, employment and life skill building programs to assist the community-at-large prepare for successful integration into communities throughout the state of Florida.
Under the direction of Tiffany Richburg, Executive Director, and our highly qualified Board of Directors, New Life Transitional Services, Inc has plans of expanding its services throughout Hillsborough County and neighboring jurisdictions in Florida.
Phases of Growth and Expansion
The objective of Phase One is Planning, Fundraising and establishing community partnerships. To track its progress NLTS, Inc has identified key milestones that must be achieved before moving from Phase One to Phase Two. If any milestones are not met, NLTS, Inc will revisit its assumptions and fine-tune its strategy to address the emerging issues.
The objective of Phase Two is to open and operate our first residence. Growth plans and strategy will be adjusted as necessary in this phase.
The objective of Phase Three is to open a second six-person residence. At this point, we will begin to explore the option of opening a business training school.
The objective of Phase Four is to secure funding for a transitional facility that provides all-inclusive services under one umbrella.
At full organizational capacity, New Life Transitional Services, Inc will establish itself as a leading community organization. For that, NLTS will work to develop programs in the following areas:

Our homes provide residents with stable, safe and affordable housing. We are currently seeking landlord partners to expand due to the demands in our community resulting from COVID-19.
